This is why I love my job!

The Inspiration Tour traveled to the Delaware State Fair recently and inspired over 14,000 visitors to do more with their digital photos. It's always gratifying to see the final report from each event on the tour schedule and tally the numbers, but it is even more rewarding to hear personal stories of how Kodak is touching people's lives.
Today, I want to share a special story with you told to me by our dedicated Kodak Ambassador, Jessie Wachter, from Mt. Vernon, Washington. We are blessed to have Jessie on the tour with Kodak as she is fluent in Spanish, German, and modern Greek. Jessie helped a Guatemalan family and walked them through the exhibit because they did not speak English. She was lucky enough to capture this adorable photo of their son with the thINK tattoo on his forehead.
Jessie said, "The family was so grateful, they actually came back a couple of days later with about a dozen hot, fresh, home-made Chipilines which are a Guatemalan specialty." - and one of Jessie's favorites!

Here's another photo of Edgardo sitting on the floor teaching a young child how to use his camera. The boy had been pouting because his parents wanted him to take a picture and he didn't want to because all he was interested in was the rides at the fair. By the time Edgardo was done with him, the boy was literally skipping around and so excited to be taking silly pictures in the No.12 KODAK DODGE NASCAR!

Finally, they are never to young to be inspired ... We had a 4 year old come to the Kodak Gallery/Kodak EasyShare Custom Creations Software computer bar asking to upload his pictures but could not find the spot to insert the memory card. He was with his mother telling her he wanted to e-mail the photos he took to his grandparents!
These are just a few of the wonderful stories that our team shared from the Inspiration Tour stop in Delaware. I agree with Jessie when she said, "This is why I love this job!"
Thank you Harrington, DE! The Inspiration Tour packed up and traveled down the road to the Ohio State Fair this week. Here's a photo of one of the 53' trailers that houses the 6,000 sq. ft. Inspiration Tour exhibit.

Honk your horn if you pass the truck on the road and please come back to see more photos and hear heart-warming stories from people we have had the privilege to inspire!
