Let's Go Racing!

Ryan Newman, driver of the No. 12 Kodak DODGE, finished 8th in the USG Sheetrock 400 and trails Dale Earnhardt, Jr. by 30 points in the race for the Chase for the NEXTEL Cup at #13 in the overall standings. Over 1,500 fans have submitted paint scheme designs to Kodak's "Ink Ryan's Ride" promotion, and just under 10,000 people visited Kodak's Inspiration Tour at Chicagoland Speedway this past weekend.

Kodak's Inspiration Tour made a quick stop in Joliet, Illinois, on the way to the Delaware State Fair over the 3-day NASCAR weekend. If you have attended a NASCAR race, then you know there is a lot to keep you busy at the racetrack so we were extremely pleased to hear many visitors proclaim, "we have gone to all the tents at the race and the KODAK tent is by far the best we have been to!" Race fans loved the NASCAR photo scene saying, "Wow this is a real race car, just cut in half and no engine," and "This is just too cool - I have to have a picture!" Of course, the lines were long the whole time the tent was open and a total of 7,861 digital photos were shot at the NASCAR, Olympics, and Disney photo backdrops.

Our Kodak brand ambassadors helped 2,970 people print their image at the KODAK All-in-One Inkjet Printers, delivered 1,351 KODAK Picture Kiosk demos, and 1,251 KODAK Printer Dock demos. Kodak's new Custom Creations Software was very well received with one happy husband saying, "My wife is really into scrap booking and this program will make it so much easier for her and less of a mess for me to deal with" and another 725 people signed up for free Kodak Gallery accounts and immediately shared their pictures from inside the Inspiration Tour pavilion with family and friends.

Thank you race fans! We enjoyed our time at Chicagoland Speedway and now the truck is on route to Harrington, Delaware as the Inspiration Tour heads to the Delaware State Fair. Come back to see photos from the road and visitor feedback from people we continue to have the privilege to inspire!

Celebrating July 4th at Taste of Minnesota!

I'm back to provide you with some of the sights, sounds and incredible moments experienced at Taste of Minnesota. Only at the Inspiration Tour can visitors brag as they get their photo taken, "My NASCAR buddies are going to love this! This photo is going on my bar," and "This is so exciting. I'm going to the next Olympics. This is my warm-up," or perhaps the best Kodak moment when a man proposed to his girlfriend on the top of the Olympic podium photo backdrop and she happily accepted! That couple proceeded to the Picture Kiosk in the Digital Printing area to print out their picture on a calendar to count down the days to their wedding!

Kodak's Inspiration Tour proudly made its debut at Taste of Minnesota in St. Paul, and over the course of six days, our dedicated staff of Kodak ambassadors inspired 14,948 visitors to unleash the power of their pictures by showing them how to take, print, display and create wonderful keepsakes with their photos. They assisted 11,566 people at the digital camera rails to ensure they took the best picture possible and performed 7,020 All-in-One Inkjet Printer demos, 7,098 Kodak Picture Kiosk demos, and 4,229 Kodak Printer Dock demos! Hundreds of people experienced Custom Creations Software for the first time and just under 1,000 people signed up for Kodak Gallery accounts and shared their pictures from inside the Inspiration Tour pavilion with family and friends.

We look forward to bringing you more behind the scenes reports as the tour travels to Chicago for a NASCAR weekend at Chicagoland Speedway, July 13-15. We will share more event photos from the road, and visitor feedback from wonderful people we have had the privilege to inspire! Please visit www.kodak.com/go/InspirationTour for complete tour details.
